We are currently working on a new book on Hudson Taylor, missionary to China for 55 years. Hudson was a man steadfast in his allegiance to His Savior, who poured his life out for the spreading of the glory of God and the spread of His Gospel. He said, “If I had a thousand pounds China should have it- if I had a thousand lives, China should have them. No! Not China, but Christ. Can we do too much for Him? Can we do enough for such a precious Savior?” Taylor suffered much, yet he looked to the reward. 

“On September 19, 1853, a young man walked up the plank of the Dumfries. He was the ship’s only passenger. The waves splashed against the vessel. A cool breeze tugged at the sails. Overhead, sea gulls screamed and dove for their breakfast. At age 21, Hudson Taylor was bound for China…”
